This spring our lake was stocked with rainbows and browns. It is usually more of a warm water lake with plenty of largemouths, crappies and various panfish. Smallmouths aren’t super rare but not nearly as common as the others.
Just put a basic worm on a weighted jighead and worked it through the weeds and along came this smallie not long after I hooked but lost a largemouth nearby.
